Detox And The Body's pH Level

People have been taking in different kinds of foods and beverages without knowing the harmful chemicals, preservatives and additives that these products contain.

Although the body has its own way of eliminating unwanted toxins inside the body, sometimes a build-up of these harmful chemicals or acids is inevitable. Many systems in the body like mineral reserves, breath, and fat tend to buffer acids, but the build up of such acids causes the body systems to not function well. Since acids are also considered toxins, they need to be eliminated through detoxification.

There are different fluids found inside the human body. The cells inside the body are often affected by the body’s pH level. The pH level is the measurement of acidity and alkalinity in the body. The body has its own way of managing the pH level, but when it is unable to contain it properly, it causes an imbalanced pH and this imbalance affects the whole body. Many regulatory processes within are body’s cells are controlled by pH. If the pH is too low, or too acidic, malfunctions can occur. The same applies when pH is too high, or too basic.

Stress, tiredness, excessive weight, fatigue, aches, pains, poor digestion, and other serious disorders show signs that the pH level inside your body may be too acidic. There are three things that make the body become too acidic; these include ingestion of acids, creation of acids, and improper acid elimination.

There are foods that are considered too acidic, such as dairy, processed sugar, meat, alcohol, coffee, carbonated beverages, and the like. Taking them in excessive amounts overloads the ability of your body in neutralizing all the acids. Hyperacidity is the condition in the digestive system where excess acids tend to destroy healthy tissue lining. Acidifying toxins are also created by microforms and pathogens present inside the body. When the body becomes too acidic, yeasts, microforms, and bad bacteria proliferate and these live organisms can create even more toxins that eventually build up, causing an imbalanced pH. Acid build up also occurs when the body systems that eliminate the acids are not functioning properly.

A detox diet, which includes balanced foods in the right amounts, can help neutralize the effects of too much acid in the body. Normal pH levels should be achieved in order for body processes to run smoothly.

Aiding your body in the detoxification process especially when it is not functioning well is a best way in obtaining a well-balanced pH inside the body. You must also have a balanced diet and nutrition. A balanced diet means eating right amounts of grow, glow and go foods everyday. A diet consisting of foods high in alkaline substances, proper supplementation, and hydrating the body properly can also aid the body in detox. There are also alkalizing products available in stores that augment the pH balance. A well-maintained and balanced pH level will prevent acid build up in the body.

Take note, the road to a healthy life starts with you, and the choices you make. Embrace the good life by having a better choice of diet. You surely will be rewarded well.
