Detoxify Your Body Gently

Detoxification is the process of cleansing the body from impurities that includes toxins and other harmful substances. Water eliminates build-up of toxins and lets your filtering organs rest. Water fasting also revitalizes and refreshes the body making you feel light and motivated.

Although fasting is a great way to detoxify the body, many are discouraged to do this especially those with heath problems. In this case, you may want to try some gentle ways to detoxify yourself.

You can change your diet. This is the most important thing to do to clean the body. This means that you have to throw away bad (eating) habits that can harm the body and replace them with beneficial ones (eating fresh fruits and vegetables instead of taking canned and packaged foods rich in preservatives). Because, no matter how many detox programs you try, if you still keep on accumulating foods that contain harmful substances for the body, then, there would be no change at all. You will just have to do detox programs forever. So go for the one that will last. Change your diet now.

Try a sauna. This is good to eliminate toxins and other chemicals that have built-up in fat cells. But this can’t be done alone. You have to combine it with proper diet and exercise to achieve great results.

There are also techniques like skin brushing and massage. These are also a few of the gentle ways to detoxify the body. Massaging the skin improves blood circulation and removes old skin cells and toxins in the skin that have accumulated.

Take a yoga class. This improves the mind and physical processes. Because of the different positions and form being done in yoga, the body and some internal organs are being massaged, thus, slowly eradicating toxins.
